Why joining? đź“‹

This course, developed as part of a Horizon Europe project, combines top scientific research with real-world input from diverse experts and communities. It provides an open space for learning, dialogue, and collaboration, at no cost to participants, and no technical background is required.

This dynamic Capacity-building program explores the complex role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within Human Resources Management, focusing on its potential and challenges. Through interactive modules, participants will gain essential knowledge and skills to:

  • Recognise and address bias in recruitment and workplace technologies
  • Explore how AI can support fairness, inclusion, and responsible decision-making
  • Reflect on the human impact of AI in everyday work environments 

Our course curriculum and content are shaped by the cutting-edge research from the Horizon Europe BIAS project, developed by a multidisciplinary team of leading scholars and professionals in AI, Science and Technology Studies, Law, and Adult Learning, involving external collaboration such as the European Trade Union Institute.

This is also a great opportunity for participants to exchange insights and experiences in a supportive, collaborative networking space.

Training methodologies 🛠️

The training will draw on the latest insights from the BIAS project, using interactive and participatory adult learning methods, including:

  • Case studies: Real-life scenarios that explore how AI can impact different groups in recruitment and workplace settings
  • Self-reflection: Guided exercises to help participants examine their own assumptions and perspectives
  • Practical activities: Hands-on exercises to allow participants to apply what they’ve learned and explore how AI tools work in practice
  • Mutual Learning: Opportunity to present/discuss a project/initiative on fair & inclusive AI in recruitment.

 

Practical information ℹ️
  • Language: Sessions will be conducted in English.
  • Schedule: Consult each country’s page for updates on local sessions’ dates and venues, and the specific target audience.
  • Format: 2 sessions of 3 hours each will be held online, in person, or in a blended mode, depending on the country.
  • Certificate: A certificate will be issued to participants after the completion of the course.
