The BIAS project has experienced an exciting seven months since the last edition of our newsletter. As of April 2024, we are one and a half years into this four-year endeavour. Numerous exciting results have already begun to emerge, as outlined in this newsletter. Let’s discover them:
👩🏾💼The BIAS Survey: Discover how the BIAS survey engaged thousands from May to November 2023 to share their views on AI’s impact on the job market.
🧭 International Workshop in Venice: Embark on a journey and explore how the BIAS project made big strides in fairness for job-hunting AI and paved the way for a future where technology meets ethics.
🎙️Ethnographic Interviews: Learn how the BIAS project aims to demystify AI in the labour market through personal stories and experiences that are a result of a series of interviews being held in Norway, Turkey, Italy, Iceland, and the Netherlands.
🫱🏼🫲🏾The AI Fairness Cluster: With a focus on developing human-centric, secure, inclusive and ethical technology, the AI Fairness Cluster (AEQUITAS, BIAS, FINDHR, and MAMMOTH) is a pivotal initiative to ensure trustworthiness in AI.
